Meet Your Therapist

Dr Dominic Doyle is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist.

Since completing his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dominic has worked for over ten years in both the public and private mental health sectors. During this time Dominic has specialised in the assessment and treatment of mental and emotional difficulty in adults and adolescents (16+).

Dominic has experience working with adults and adolescents struggling with emotional difficulties, including anxiety, sadness, depression, anger, overwhelm, obsessive thinking, loneliness, disconnection, grief, feelings of insecurity and inadequacy and relationship problems.

For some, these difficulties can come at times of transition and change; for others, the issues have been longstanding. Regardless, they often require the time and space of therapy to address.

Dominic works collaboratively and aims to support a therapeutic relationship within which these troubles can be understood and explored, so that one can emerge from the turbulence with greater clarity and purpose.

When we express ourselves to another, we give ourselves an opportunity to say something that we would not have thought, had we just been thinking. Talking matters. As does realising that we are worth listening to.

I offer a capacity to listen deeply and honour the need for stories to be told, in their fullest possible way. Within this story, held by the frame of a reliable and sound therapy relationship, lies the seeds for growth, if we can both listen well enough.
